Lakeshore is about innovation and creating home in one of the most beautiful locations in America. Prior to the new Lakeshore community, we operated a nursing home on this site for 75 years. We saw an opportunity, however, to create something very different for the Duluth community that took full advantage of our lakeside location and provided new housing options built with the input of area residents.

Based on insights from the larger community, the Lakeshore development team paid close attention to creating a community that would fit into a historic neighborhood while providing our customers with a variety of amenities and options that allow them to enjoy lakeside living at its finest.
